Wow, I can’t believe that I haven’t updated the blog for ten days! I’ve been pretty busy and there is a lot going on to report to you guys. We got our preliminary design from our architect and are working actively to get our plans submitted to Tracy for permitting. I’m trying to arrange a preliminary meeting with the city planner, fire department, building inspector, my architect, and my contractor prior to formally submitting our plans.
Craig and I made a journey up to Heretic to check out their facility which is very similar to ours in that they are working with 15,000 sqft as well. I was very impressed with how they had their place set up. They get the most out of their space without the place feeling overly cluttered.
The highlight since the last update was pouring beer at the Raley Field Beer Festival up in Sacramento. It was my first time going and I must say that it was a fantastic and fun event …. other than the heat. It was hotter than Hades, like 107 degrees. Despite the heat we had a great and productive time. Craig managed to work his magic and find an aftermarket source for citra hops which we have been struggling to find. When the festival finished up, we packed up and made our way home. When it was all said and done we were exhausted and ready to go to sleep. zzzzzzz
